Father, Hussam Hussain Haider Darwish
Hussam Hussain Haider Darwish father and the school to learn from was born in 1958. Despite living in Oman, My father was raised in Oman as the second of five children, but they left when he was still very young and moved to Qatar. Here they stayed until 1971 before moving to Sharjah (at this time the United Arab Emirates did not exist yet).
My father completed 9th grade and high school at Al Uroba School in Sharjah before heading to Egypt in 1975 to study Architecture at the Halwan University School of Art, in Al Zamalek.
Few years after finishing university, my father established his own architectural firm in 1983, named Gulf Engineering and Consultancy with his brother Fahad. They had studied together all the way from school to university.
He worked very closely with my grandfather, Hussain Haider Darwish in the development of his companies and taking over in the Sultanate of Oman, where then he took over Oman Travel Bureau and managing director of Al Darwish Travel.

Passions are exploring, hiking, diving, travelling and riding. I was born on the 20th of November 1984 in Al Wasel Hospital, Dubai, and was raised in the UAE.
I attended the Dubai National School from the start until I graduated in 2002, before joining the University of Sharjah, where I majored in MIS, and achieved a minor in Marketing in 2008.
After my graduation I joined up with Damac Properties as a marketing executive, where I worked there for three years before taking part of The Marketing Boulevard where i have worked to make it run as a proper company and to establish it, and once it was set up, I decided to join my father in Oman where I have learnt from him then worked as the managing Director for the Oman Travel Bureau.
Ever since I was young, I have always been fascinated by nature and animals, and my thirst for knowledge on the subject has never been quenched. I couldn’t ever have imagined I would end up becoming a businessman, but my interest in nature remains strong.
